- I would ban cologne/perfume as much as smoking seems to be banned in public places. As much as people do not like smoking I do not like perfume. Most of it is as toxic as smoking to those who a chemically sensitive or have allergies. There isn't a larger turn-off for me than someone sporting the latest lucious fragrance. I am a smoker and I respect the bans on smoking in certain areas/places however strong scents should be added to the list. The only scents many are not allergic including myself are those that ARE naturally derived from nature.
