we use aim chatrooms on one of the car sites i belong too,we don't have a problem with spam bots or anything like that at all,it's a number of people who all know each other getting online to bs for a while. we are having a lot of problems with aim though,as far as dropping people and kicking them for no reason. or not being able to log into a room,you've logged into a hundred times before. so aim problems need to be banned.

Actually, AIM Chat Rooms are still there, and even more of people use them than before... I think its because everyone has been fighting back agains the spam bots because they can own their own rooms now and kick and ban the bots out of the rooms.. maybe so, but i don't think it is anyones right to take away someones right to go onto an idiotic chat room.

AIM chat rooms are the home of spam, bots, and people who can't type.
